Wellridge team members work from Kyoto, Tokyo, Vancouver, and beyond — each in their own city and country. We are remote-first, and visit our Kyoto office or client sites when the work calls for it.

You can work in a way that fits your lifestyle. When you do come to the office, staggered hours help you avoid rush hour. If you live abroad, you do not need to align with Japan time zone by default — progress each project in the way that works best.

Events in Kyoto
We hold meetups several times a year in the Shimogamo area of Kyoto, where Wellridge is based. The neighborhood near Shimogamo Shrine, a World Heritage site, is full of greenery — a great place to recharge.

Before consulting or growth support, we want people who can put themselves in the customer’s shoes, identify what is needed for growth, and propose improvements on their own.

Client success depends on market strategy grounded in accurate data analysis. We need people who can collect and interpret marketing data to help clients reach their goals. Experience with e-commerce, SEO, analytics, and marketing tools — and the ability to propose and run effective campaigns with data — is welcome.

Global perspective and cross-cultural skills
Our clients include Japanese ventures expanding overseas and international companies entering or scaling in Japan — including the UK and Taiwan. We welcome experience communicating in English and other languages, working with local partners, and running marketing internationally, as well as those who want to apply their Japan experience to global business.
